Distiller's Grains Dryer Equipment
The single drum dryer : Different intermal blades and arrangement forms can be matched according tothe specific characteristics of different materials, ensuring longer service lifeand higher stability.
Features:
- capacity: 30-300t/d (Customizable)
- Heat Source: Suitable for biomass, natural gas, diesel, coal, etc.
- Scope of Application: Yellow sand, river sand, sea sand, iron concentrate, quartz sand, blast furnaceslag, raw coal, fly ash, kaolin, mineral sludge, lithium mica, coal slime, clay, gypsum, sludge, lead-zinc tailings, chicken manure, grain, traditional Chinesemedicine residue, and other high-moisture, high-viscosity materials.
Working Principle
Wet distillers grains (with a moisture content of about 85%) are fed from the raw material hopper into a dewatering or crushing system for pre-treatment, reducing initial moisture and improving material handling. The pre-treated material is then conveyed into a rotary drum dryer, where hot air generated by a heat source system (such as natural gas or biomass) is introduced.
Inside the drum, the material is continuously lifted, scattered, and evenly distributed by lifting plates, ensuring full contact with the hot air for efficient heat and mass transfer, which accelerates moisture evaporation. During the drying process, dust-laden exhaust gas is drawn into a cyclone separator and bag filter by the induced draft system for purification, meeting emission standards while allowing dust recovery.
The material gradually moves forward under the combined effect of the inclined drum and airflow, completing continuous drying with a final moisture content of around 10%. The dried product is then collected and can be further processed or conveyed to storage or packaging systems, ensuring stable and efficient operation of the entire production line.
