Zambia Turnkey Dry Mortar Production Line Project – Tongding Machinery

Tongding’s successful implementation of this project in Zambia once again demonstrates its delivery capabilities regarding dry-mix mortar production lines, sand drying systems, and automated building material production solutions.

       

Tongding designed a fully automated production line solution for the client, covering the entire process from raw material processing to finished product packaging. Key system components include:

1.Three-pass sand drying system

To address the issue of high moisture content in Zambian river sand, the system employs a continuous three-stage rotary drying technology. Upon entering the drum, the wet sand is repeatedly lifted and dispersed by internal spiral flights, ensuring thorough contact with hot air and rapid moisture evaporation. The processed sand features stable moisture content and excellent flowability, making it an ideal aggregate for dry-mixed mortar.

        

2.Fully automatic dry-mixed mortar mixing plant

Dry sand, cement, and additives are automatically proportioned according to the formula and fed into a twin-shaft zero-gravity mixer. The system allows for flexible formula switching, enabling the production of various products such as tile adhesives, putty powder, and plastering mortar. Compared to traditional manual mixing, the automated proportioning system significantly reduces human error and ensures consistent product quality across batches.
