Installation Project for a Dry-Mix Production Line and Aggregate Drying System in Sri Lanka

Tongding’s project in Sri Lanka comprises an aggregate Sand drying system and dry mortar production equipment. Our installation engineer, Mr. Zhang, traveled to the site to oversee equipment installation, commissioning, and operator training.

Before installation, our engineer, Mr. Zhang, worked with the client’s team to review the equipment layout, site foundation conditions, material flow, and connection points.

Once the equipment arrived on-site, the installation proceeded in an orderly, step-by-step manner, including mechanical assembly, equipment positioning, conveying equipment connections, electrical wiring, and control system inspection and commissioning.

 

The sand dryer is a key piece of equipment installed at the Sri Lanka plant.

During the installation process, our engineer, Zhang, inspected the dryer’s positioning, support structure, feed and discharge connections, drive system, and burner connections prior to commissioning.

Once the mechanical and electrical installation was completed, the team moved on to commissioning.

The commissioning process included:

Motor rotation checks
Conveyor running tests
Dryer operation checks
Burner adjustment
Dust collection system testing
Mixer trial operation
Weighing system checks
Packaging system testing
PLC and HMI function checks

Some of the training was carried out directly beside the equipment.

The operators followed the actual production sequence while our engineers explained how each section of the line worked and what should be checked during daily operation.

 

The work also involves equipment arrangement, installation, electrical connection, commissioning and operator training.

For the Sri Lanka project, our engineers stayed on site during the installation and commissioning process and worked directly with the customer’s team.
